According to the Road Haulage Association 85% of all freight in the UK at one time uses the road network, so it is little surprise that when an Extra Large Lloyd’s Motor Fleet underwriter closed their doors to new business in December 2017 during the crucial run-up to Christmas, and stopped offering renewals in February 2018, many of their larger Haulage clients took up the offer to extend their existing policy so that renewals fall later in 2019.Read more
