Aviva thank Members for ongoing support after being named Compass Business Partner of the Year 2020
We were delighted to award Aviva the Business Partner of the Year 2020 title in our Compass Annual Awards for the third consecutive year. Following their award win during Press Play: Live, we caught up with Kevin Westcott, Key Partner Senior Sales & Distribution Manager, to find out what the accolade means to Aviva and how they can support you and your clients this year.
Q: How does it feel to be awarded Business Partner of the Year 2020?
A: We’re delighted to have been awarded this accolade for the third year running – it’s fantastic recognition and we don’t take it for granted. We truly value Compass Network Member feedback and endorsement, especially in what has been a challenging year for all. We’ve worked hard to support you and your clients with good service, guidance, and updates, so we’re humbled that this has been recognised. Thank you.
Q: How did you find the Press Play: Live event?
A: We always love supporting the Compass Annual Conference. This year was obviously different from the norm, and we’re all learning how to make the most of doing things virtually, but it was great to be part of it. It gave us another opportunity to catch up with Members and learn more about the plans Compass has for the year ahead.
Q: Why does Aviva continue to partner with Compass?
A: Regional brokers, such as those in the Compass Network, are key to our success and we’ll continue to champion this crucial distribution channel. We’ve always worked well in partnership with Compass to maximise successful trading opportunities and good outcomes for customers. And long may that continue!
Q: What benefits have you found by partnering with the Network?
A: Aviva has seen strong premium growth year on year across the Network with many schemes and case opportunities having been identified through our partnership, which have been well-supported by the Compass sales team. This brings mutual benefits to the partnership and offers your clients quality and accessible business placement options.
Q: What is your key focus for 2021?
A: Whilst these continue to be turbulent times, we’ve all got a big job to do to help the UK get back to business. For us, working alongside quality regional brokers and supporting you and your clients with the tools you need, is at the heart of this effort. We’ll continue to share our expert risk management support, provide market insight data, and offer products to help with new and emerging risks, such as cyber.
Q: How can you help Members in 2021?
A: With the acceleration of simple and comprehensive digital trading, and with wrap-around guidance and support to help you run and grow your business, as well as addressing the unique and ongoing market challenges.
