AXA release latest COVID-19 update
Please find AXA’s latest Commercial Lines update below where they outline what’s new on their dedicated COVID-19 hub.
Welcome to our latest update, outlining the content we’ve recently added to our Coronavirus Hub for you and your clients.
In our Underwriting section, we’ve provided updated information on AXA Covid-19 exclusions, following a review and revision of the exclusions that we introduced during the early stages of the Covid-19 epidemic. We’ve also outlined the benefits these changes will bring to clients.
In the rradar Legal guidance section, there are 4 new rradar Spotlight one-page articles, covering employee and business issues:
- Flexible Furlough
- Choosing hand sanitiser for the workplace
- Coronavirus Support Schemes and Fraud
- Infection Control Fund
We’ve updated our guides to the webinars and other content available on the rradar Coronavirus Portal. This is free to access for brokers, and this week 17 new articles/support resources have been added, including pay for returning travellers during Coronavirus.
In our Remote Working section, we’ve added further guidance from Ignition, AXA’s broker marketing consultancy, on How to understand your customers. This extends the help for businesses refocusing on business growth as they return from lockdown and sits alongside the existing guides covering vlogging, online events, leveraging LinkedIn and conducting a website health check.
In our last update we reminded about the need to reinstate cover and update the Motor Insurance Database for vehicles returning to road use. In our Back to Business section we’ve expanded the information on why this is essential, with our guide to getting your vehicles back on the road – keep yourself covered.
As well as highlighting these important steps, we’d also like to draw your attention to two Back to Business guides of relevance to insurance brokers considering a return to an office working environment:
- Risk assessment
These provide detailed guidance on the steps to take to protect your employees, your customers and your business at this period of transition.
Also aimed at brokers is the latest edition of our Working Well Toolkit, supporting managers in navigating the new normal.
Whilst on the topic of new normal, just as the Government has moved its daily televised briefings to an “ad hoc” basis to “coincide with significant announcements”, this will also be the last of our regular Coronavirus Updates.
In future, we’ll update you when new key developments take place and when new content is added to our Coronavirus Hub. This has built into a significant resource for you and clients so we would encourage to keep revisiting it.
I hope you find this latest information helpful for you and your clients and, as always, wish you and your families all the best.
