Covid-19 update from AXA Commercial
At Compass, it’s our aim to bring you the latest news from our Strategic Insurer Partners during the Coronavirus pandemic. Please see the latest from Alasdair Stewart, Marketing and Broker Development Director at AXA:
Welcome back after the Easter break. Certainly one of the weirdest Easters in memory, but I hope you all got the chance to spend some good time together with your families.
We’re starting off this shorter working week with our latest update – click here to access the full document.
In this edition we focus on:
- A service update from our Claims function, explaining how we’re enabling more employees to work from home and how we are dealing with hotspots like Travel claims. There is also a reminder of our One & Done process and how the use of cash settlements can speed up claims resolution. There is also a further update on how our inspectors and suppliers are maintaining service levels.
- In our Underwriting section we give you some guidance on building maintenance and repairs and home workers. We also explain how to extend first aid certification during Covid-19 restrictions.
- In our Business Support section – for brokers and clients alike we provide access to rradar spotlights on Force Majeure and Lay-offs & Short-Time Working. There’s an overview of the rradar Coronavirus portal and information around what’s new. We outline benefits of wider rradar access for existing AXA MLP clients. We also provide further information from across the wider AXA group, with guidance from AXA XL on protecting against cyber attacks, and give you access to a 30-minute Wellbeing webinar from AXA PPP healthcare.
- Finally, we answer some more questions posted to us on firstname.lastname@example.org during last week. This mailbox is dedicated to brokers allowing you to submit general questions. Please do not pass the details on to your clients, as we can’t answer any case specific queries through this mailbox. If your query is case specific then in the first instance please get in touch with your usual branch or National Trading Centre contact.
All the content from this and previous weeks will be uploaded on to our Coronavirus hub.
I hope you find this information helpful and as ever, I wish all good health to you and your families.
